If you're behind me and you want to go faster than 55 in a 55 zone, you'll have to pass me. I like the 55mph zones. I believe that the Volvo was engineered for 55. According to the fuel economy gauge in the car, at 55mph I get between 37-45 miles per gallon. At 60mph, that drops to the low- to mid-twenties (still not bad for a wagon, but not as nice as high 30's!).
So, now for two reasons I will be one of those annoying drivers that actually does the speed limit. First, IT'S THE LAW, and second ... well I think 40mpg speaks for itself!
