We have been pretty busy lately! Matt and I worked the Aultman Hospital bookfair for Dad just before Easter! Mom was on Spring Break so she willingly watched the kids for those few days! It was fun to work with Matt again! Shortly after that was Easter! We had a pretty good turnout here! Both sets of Grandparents were here with us and Britt and Manny were able to come up too! We really missed having Steven and Ashley here, and we hope you enjoyed your Easter! That morning, we had breakfast and then the kids found their "baskets" (we didn't really have baskets, what they got was too big to fit in a basket... next year we will get them actual baskets!). We headed to ABF and service and then came home and had a huge lunch with everyone! After lunch, Hannah had an easter egg hunt in the front yard! The weather was wonderfully sunny, so it was nice to be outside! Then the kids found their basket from Grandparents H. We had a lovely day! Matt had a very light work week following Easter, so it was nice to have him around the house a little bit! He did install a dishwasher for my grandparents that week! Matt had 2 really full weeks of bookfairs, but one Friday, he had off so we went to the Kimono As Art exhibit at the Canton Museum of Art. It was the final weekend and we didn't want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity! We were so impressed and very glad that we went. The hand work on each of the kimonos was so impressive and unbelievable... it was amazing. The colors and textures were awe inspiring. It really was incredible! Hannah and I planted flowers a few weeks ago for the deck pots! She had a good time getting her hands dirty and seeing the pretty colors all together after we were finished!! She loves doing projects, and we try to do something everyday... no matter how big or small it is, she is so happy to work on things with me! We made yogurt pops from her Hightlights magazine and she hasn't stopped talking about them since! We will probably be making those once a week during the summer months! Hannah also enjoyed painting on the driveway! I made a batch of sidewalk paint in four different colors and took the paintbrushes and created all kinds of creations on the driveway! It dried so much brighter than I thought it would, everyone liked it!! Saturday, Britt and Manny came up and ran wedding errands! They booked the church, rehearsal dinner, reception hall and Britt found her wedding dress! It was a great day! We are all excited for December 19th! We are having a Christmas wedding! Manny's Mom and Sister came up with them for the day and we all had a lovely time together! It was a special day for all of us! Mother's Day was great! Mom and I were able to relax all day! We went to church and had leftovers for lunch. Matt heated up some Longhorn steaks and sweet potatos for us! Then we all took naps! It was great! That evening, we met Dad for dinner at Grinder's and Mothers received a complimentary slice of chocolate cake and a packet of coupons for area businesses! It was a very nice touch! Tuesday, Matt and I took the kids to the Dennison Depot Railroad Museum! It was a great day and the kids absolutely loved it! They had so many activities for them that no one got bored and we were able to read all of the signs! It was really great! They really treated the kids wonderfully! We would definitely recommend it and we will probably go back again sometime! We had a wonderful day! We have really been enjoying the wonderful spring/summer weather we have been having here! The kids and I have been taking so many walks. They love being outside and they like to say "Hi" to all the other passers-by and they especially love to spy out all the dogs along the way! The kids are growing and changing so much! Mason is finally walking full time (since Easter) and he has 3 of his molars come in over the past few weeks. He is really trying to talk up a storm! I just can't believe how tall both kids have gotten lately! Mason takes up most of his crib now... it is sad... my baby is growing up so fast. The kids have really come to love playing with each other! They really get along splendidly! It is so fun to watch them and see all the funny things they do together! They are such a joy! I should wrap it up now, hope you enjoy your Spring! We will be!
