As Mom would say when I was in college, "Just let us know you are alive!"! We have been pretty busy around here. This week Matt got back into Bookfair season! Which leaves me and Hannah around here to have fun (or to do all the background work for the books!)! I have also been busy trying to line things up with Baby's Away. I have had quite a few inquiries, but no takers yet. I am now listed on the national webpage, so that should help things! Well, it has been a while for a Hannah update... so here goes!
Hannah is growing so fast, poor thing, we are having a hard time keeping her in clothes for more than one week at a time! She is so tall that she is already outgrowing her 18 month clothes. I pulled out a 24 month outfit yesterday, the kind that buttons all the way up her legs, and they wouldn't stay buttoned because her body is too long! Hmmm... what to do! All of her dresses are now mini skirts, oh my.
She is so fun, she is learning so many new things each day! A few of her new words are Apple, Hat, Heart, Teddy, Up, Down, Ball, Bowl, Blue, and the list goes on and on. She is learning so many things, she knows what a strawberry and banana are, however, she is not quite saying the words clearly! She is also becoming very familiar with some of her 2,000 parts! She can point to her head, ears, eyes, nose, lips, teeth, tongue, tummy, and feet when she is asked where they are! We were playing with her letter blocks and I wanted to see how many of them she actually knew, so I asked her to hand me the strawberry block and she did, I asked for the banana block, and she handed that one to me as well, so we tried (and were successful with) zebra, monkey, keys, lion, elephant, and we were working on ice cream when Matt came in the door and distracted her from her lesson (hee hee)! She is climbing on top of everything now, she was standing on her little push car thing the other day so she could boost herself onto the green couch. She is such a hoot! I can't believe that Monday she will be 16 months already (time for a size comparison update!). My, how time is flying.
Funny story, the other day I was feeding Hannah and I was trying to get Matt's attention by calling out to him in the garage, "Hon", and Hannah followed suit and continued calling for me! "Hon... Hon... Hon..." She does the funniest things! She is doing very well with listening and obeying directions... she even picks up her toys! Nice thing to get in the habit of doing! This week she also learned how to twirl all by herself! She has been learning more about her feet, and she was dancing and all of a sudden she put her hands up in the air, and did a cute twirl! Yesterday, when she did it again, she grabbed my finger so I could twirl her! Too sweet! Hannah brings such joy to our hearts! We love her so much!
Hope you all enjoy your weekend (especially you, Britt and Mammie!
)!
