Last week, we had a few days that were left unbooked in our schedule. So we decided to head to Ohio for a few days. Actually, Bob and Kelly were planning an overnight at my parent's house and I was a little envious, so we went out too!
Britt had been planning to go shopping for her wedding dress... and of course, I did not want to miss that! Especially when I found out that her future Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law were going to be there too! It was lovely to meet them, we had a wonderful day... and she DID find her dress!
It was so nice to see my family, my Caraway family, and my extended (honorary) family!!! We sure missed Steven and Ashley though. Too bad that we aren't all just around the corner. We love you both.
We shoved a lot into just a few short days! Now we are back home, Matt is back into books, and taxes will consume this weekend. I have been busy filling orders for Baby's Away. Last night, I went to deliver a crib, a high chair and 2 car seats in Amherst. It was close, but the weather was awful. The roads were covered in snow and slush, and it continued to come down even after I returned home. I am so thankful for my car, it drove like a dream in the mess of the storm... I love that it has a brain, so I don't have to worry so much about what my car needs to be doing! It just does it for me! I love AWD and I LOVE my little W button... for wintery or watery conditions! How nice to have a car that is intuitive!
A little Hannah update! She is growing so much, her hair is coming in thicker now, and she has 2 new teeth! That makes 10 total! There are still some big bumps in there, so it won't be too long before more break through! Before we went to Ohio, we taught her how to drink from a cup with a straw! We always manage to forget her sippy cups when we go out to eat, so now it doesn't matter if we leave them behind! Matt taught her how to get out of her car seat by herself, of course she can't unbuckle it yet! Fortunately! Matt has also been teaching her all the sounds that animals make. I am not too good at making some of those noises, and Matt seems to be a pro - so I teach her the animals, and he takes care of the sounds! It is cute to hear her whine like a puppy, she does a pretty good bark too occasionally. For her duck quack, she says "duck, duck"! It is quite cute! She is doing so well, we just love her so much! I can't believe how much JOY she brings to our hearts!
