My subscriptions to Trains and Model Railroader magazines will expire soon. I'm torn as to whether I should renew or not. I enjoy the magazines very much, but I have not had the time to read them at the same speed which they are delivered to me. I am currently on the April issue of Model Railroader and the February issue of Trains. (I like to read them cover-to-cover). They are not cheap subscriptions, and I can think of more prudent things to spend my money on (like electricity and things that I actually use at the same rate it is delivered to me at). I used my birthday money to subscribe last year, and that seemed like a good thing to do with birthday money since it's not something that I would normally do for myself...
I guess I could put it on a credit card and then throw any birthday money (I'm not being presumptuous, am I?) to that bill when it comes in...
