We spent the better part of last week and the weekend up in Maine. Bob had a roofing project for the guys to work on! It was a lovely visit. Hannah was great. Matthew just loved playing with her and Kelly and I really appreciated being able to sit and talk and not have to worry what the kids were doing. Hannah loved seeing Molly again, and enjoyed meeting Honey, Kelly's brother's new puppy!
We went to Bar Harbor on Friday, and while the weather wasn't so great at the top of Cadillac Mountain, down on the island it was absolutely gorgeous. We had a nice lunch by the ocean... along with all the bus trippers!
On our way home, we visited L.L.Bean and actually made it there while the sun was up! Then we headed to the Maine Diner for dinner. We got home late that night, and Matt and Adam were up and at 'em early the next morning to start off the full week of bookfairs.
I woke up yesterday with a nasty sore throat. It then turned into a runny, stuffy nose, headache, neck ache, and sore throat. I can't wait to be better. Hannah has been on her best behavior and has done everything I have told her, she is such a big girl, and a great helper! Getting her ready for helping out when the baby comes! Speaking of baby, we are now in the 6th month, and I am feeling this kid in so many different ways than when I was pregnant with Hannah. I have very strange muscle aches that never seem to go away. We will solve that problem sometime around the new year, hopefully!!! I am very anxious to meet this little kicker! Friends of Bob and Kelly's just had a baby about a month ago and boy is he a cute little guy! I did take some time to cuddle with him, but it sure made me long to meet our new addition!
Hope everyone is doing well, feeling great, and enjoying October!
