I've posted some new pictures in the Hannah Album. Last week she learned to sit up in the crib, and she wasted no time in learning her next accomplishment. Yesterday she started trying to pull herself up using the side of the crib. Today, she succeeded. I was actually recording her when she stood up all the way for the first time, and I tried to upload that video clip, but it must be too big, as the website timed out each time I attempted. She is so proud of what she can do now. She'll laugh and talk up a storm, because she is sitting up and pulling herself up when she knows full well that she should be sleeping!
On Monday, we drove out to Portsmouth to meet Bob, Kelly and Megan at Muddy River Smokehouse. They were dropping Ben (Kelly's brother, and Megan's husband) off at Logan Airport, and wanted to meet up with us without having to go too far off the highway. What better excuse to have a meal at our favorite restaurant by the coast? We noticed when we sat down that the walls had been painted since we were there last. I asked our waitress if they were not doing the Wikki Wall anymore, and she said it had been a few months, but they just got a new shipment of Wikki Stix in, and she brought some out. Hannah's name was the first one on the wall (see picture in the Hannah Album).
The food was delicious, as usual! And we had leftovers to last for two more lunches!
We've been waiting for several weeks now for our new cash register to arrive. Earlier this week we received all of the accessories. The register itself is supposed to arrive here tomorrow, according to the UPS tracking website. And then I have all weekend to figure out how to use it, so I can demonstrate it at the Books Are Fun regional conference next week!
And on a totally random note, tonight over dinner we were wondering why we didn't try Frank's Red Hot sooner. Good stuff, if you like your hot to be HOT! (Gave a good kick to those chicken nuggets anyway!)
