We have been saying that we were going to have Hannah go to the nursery for a few weeks now, but the time has come. This morning we got ourselves up and out early enough to get to church in time to sign Hannah into the nursery.
She has been staying awake for most of the days now and she wants to be moving around or swinging or something, rather than sitting in one place for a whole church service.
Time came and we handed her off to the nursery crew and noticed Grandma June in the newborn room! So that made the transition nice for Miss Hannah!! But as we walked up the stairs to go to the sanctuary... it hit me alot harder than I thought that it would. I started to get choked up and then the tears came. I did not think I would react that way. We have left her before, but it was harder today.
All in all, Hannah was very well behaved and everyone enjoyed her in the nursery. She was the youngest child in there this week. She slept for half an hour, and she was very happy there the rest of the time! I am glad! I had the pager clenched through the whole service, expecting to get a vibration, but hoping not to! She handled it very well and it shouldn't be so hard on me next week.
She is growing up way too fast!
