Well, we are back home for a while now! We had a very successful fair in Maine and a nice visit with Bob, Kelly and Matthew. And our trip to Ohio was great too!! Short but sweet!
New things are happening every day around here. As of yesterday, I am officially "In"!! I finally got a cell phone! Now that I am home with Hannah, and driving my car more often, I thought it would be good to have a cell! Since my car is living its ninth life!! Better to be with phone, than trying to track one down!! So, that is the new thing in my life! Kinda fun, I was playing around with it last night and trying to get everyone on my contact list!
As you can tell in the photo gallery, Hannah has been growing and changing and doing so many new things all the time!! She is now doing very well sitting on her own! She is a little wobbly yet, but she can hold herself up for quite some time now. She loves to play with her toys that encourage her to strengthen her back muscles!! She is doing great! Also, about 3 weeks ago she decided that she wanted to roll all the way over from her back to her stomach! She has been going from her stomach to her back, but she finally figured out how to do it the other way!! She actually enjoys being on her stomach now that she can get herself there! It is funny to watch her roll all the way around the room!! She is starting to move her arms and legs in the swim motion, and as soon as she can get them to work together, she will be crawling! Everyday it seems that she learns a new octave and she is talking more and more... it is so entertaining!! She is getting to be a big girl!!
Last night, Hannah tried peas. She wasn't quite sure about them yet! So tonight we will try again! I made her peas in a little chopper we got for our wedding... I am thinking that we will make most of her baby food. It may be more cost effective and she can learn to enjoy the food that we eat! Hopefully, we won't get a picky eater! So far she has been more than happy with her cereal, but we can't eat cereal forever! Time to move on to the next new flavor!
It is amazing to think that in just over a week she will be 7 months already! That is so crazy! Time is flying. She sure keeps us entertained!!
