Today as I was working in the trailer, it started raining. Hard. After a few minutes, it got harder - like someone was throwing gravel at the trailer. For about 5 minutes this afternoon, hail that varied in size from 1/8" on up to nickel- and even some quarter-sized chunks barraged our property. The car and truck seemed to hold up okay, at least no damage that we were able to see. The roof of the trailer, I can tell from the inside, received some pock-marks. The vent on the trailer was smashed by one of the quarter-sized pieces of hail. Glad it happened while I was in the trailer, otherwise we would have had a soggy bookfair by the time I even knew that the vent had broken.
