Fun at the beach

We took a drive to the seacoast yesterday for business, but decided that with the weather being what it was, we had to stop at the beach. Hannah was excited the whole walk down from the truck, saying "wawa, wawa" and pointing to the ocean. We put her down and tried to walk her into the water with us, but her reaction yesterday was not a lot different than her reaction was last year at Parson's Beach. So I picked her up and Heather and I walked for a while with our feet in the water.

Hannah was still fascinated by the water, and after a couple of tries putting her feet in, we had just about given up on the idea of her liking the ocean (must be a pool kinda girl). As we were walking, she started saying "up" (which actually means down if she is already up). So we set her down and each held a hand. She loved it! As evidenced by the pictures in the Hannah Gallery, she couldn't get enough! She kept pulling me deeper and deeper out, undeterred by each wave that splashed her. I was trying to keep her outfit dry, but once her diaper started soaking up the Atlantic, it didn't matter anymore! We were all having fun!

I also uploaded some pictures that were on my camera that should have gone up with the last round. They are from our trip to Albany last month, so they actually went into the last Hannah Album. (I'm trying to keep them in chronological order). You can find them starting on page 8 of the Hannah 15-17 month album.
