Last Saturday, to go with the yummy steak dinner, Heather tried her hand at a relatively simple tomato and mozzarella salad. We used basil that I bought a few months ago to put in planters on our back porch. It was the best basil I've ever tasted! Even fresher than the "fresh" basil at the produce section. It's way cool having your own herb garden! Now we just need to find recipes to use parsley and mint, and the planter garden will be fully justified....
